October

It's hard to believe it's already October.

We have been working in our All About Me booklets. It was great to read about all the activities that the students enjoy.

On the last Friday in September we had the Terry Fox Run then we wrote about it this week. We were very lucky to run on such a beautiful sunny 🌞day.

This week we stayed indoors for daily physical activity. The students had so much fun dancing. All of them tried hard to keep up.

On October 1st we acknowledge Orange shirt day. The students listened to "Shi Shi Etko" written by Nicola I. Campbell. It was about a little girl who had a few days left before leaving to the residential school. It was great to see so many students and staff in orange shirts. We all coloured shirts orange and they are up on our bulletin board.

Our buddies this year is Mr. Clover's grade 6 class. On Tuesday afternoon we got together and the buddies created a turkey together. They all worked so well together.
