We are learning about the Inuit Culture. We listened to the story called "Mama, Do You Love Me? We saw pictures of the Northern Lights. Then we painted our own Northern Lights and drew a polar bear and igloo.

First we painted the sky then sprinkled salt all over so it would be sparkly.

Then we painted the bottom part of the background. We were given a piece of plastic wrap that we scrunched up and pressed down on the wet paint.

This technique created the look of ice on our picture.

The bear was difficult to draw. Everyone worked so hard.

The artwork is amazing!
