After Spring Break Miss Wong started a new Science unit on Matter. She taught us to work together while learning about solids, liquids and gases. She sets up stations for us to make wonderful discoveries in our groups.

At each station we had a number of bottles of liquids to examine. Some were thick and some were different colours. There were some that had bubbles. We had to guess the liquid at each station.

For gas, she had us go outside and catch air into our plastic bags. That was so much fun!

Physical changes are when an object may change in appearance, but the substances is still the same.

We all had a job to do. Everyone had to do their job well so we could be a good team.

How are we able to change each material provided?

We figured out that there were many ways to change the appearance of different materials. Some of these changes were permanent and could not be changed back.
